Well, I think you found a better skunk and the flowers in the foreground are much brighter, I like that. You got better details on the old Victorian houses or whatever they call them, I think that's good as well.
The city is way busy though, I see why the other person fuzzed it out and put that swell bridge silhouette in. And of course, the bridge is *the* landmark. Maybe you could have a cable car in there somehow if you didn't want the bridge.
If you're up for suggestions, I'd put a bridle on the skunk and give the kid the reins.
I don't know if it's high enough on the recognition scale, but the Exploratorium dome is really good looking if you want another alternate backdrop instead of the city. If nothing else, it looks more fairyland.
